Psalms 37:3

⁷“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose confidence is in the LORD. ⁸For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit.

³¹“Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ³²For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. ³³But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

⁸Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.

⁵⁷But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁵⁸Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

⁹Oh fear the LORD, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him. ¹⁰The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

⁵Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in the LORD.

³⁵He said to them, “When I sent you out without purse, bag, and sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”

¹⁰For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them. ¹¹We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end, ¹²that you won’t be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherited the promises.

²⁰to love the LORD your God, to obey his voice, and to cling to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

¹⁶Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil. ¹⁷Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.” ¹⁸“Come now, and let’s reason together,” says the LORD: “Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. ¹⁹If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land;
