Leviticus 26:5

¹³“Behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the one treading grapes him who sows seed; and sweet wine will drip from the mountains, and flow from the hills.

²⁶You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied, and will praise the name of the LORD, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people will never again be disappointed.

¹⁹The LORD answered his people, “Behold, ^[+] I will send you grain, new wine, and oil, and you will be satisfied with them; and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations.

¹⁸“‘Therefore you shall do my statutes, and keep my ordinances and do them; and you shall dwell in the land in safety. ¹⁹The land shall yield its fruit, and you shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

³³But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, and will be at ease, without fear of harm.”

¹⁵I will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full.

¹He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. ²I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” ³For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. ⁴He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. ⁵You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, ⁶nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. ⁷A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. ⁸You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked. ⁹Because you have made the LORD your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, ¹⁰no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. ¹¹For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. ¹²They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. ¹³You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. ¹⁴“Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

²⁵“‘I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land. They will dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. ²⁶I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing. I will cause the shower to come down in its season. There will be showers of blessing. ²⁷The tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure in their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them. ²⁸They will no more be a prey to the nations, neither will the animals of the earth devour them; but they will dwell securely, and no one will make them afraid.

¹⁷Charge those who are rich in this present age that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;

³⁷“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!
