Job 36:5

²⁴For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, neither has he hidden his face from him; but when he cried to him, he heard.

⁶For though the LORD is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but he knows the proud from afar.

¹²God has made the earth by his power. He has established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding has he stretched out the heavens.

²³We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.

⁵Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.

¹⁹great in counsel, and mighty in work; whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children of men, to give everyone according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings;

¹³“If I have despised the cause of my male servant or of my female servant, when they contended with me,

¹³“With God is wisdom and might. He has counsel and understanding. ¹⁴Behold, he breaks down, and it can’t be built again. He imprisons a man, and there can be no release. ¹⁵Behold, he withholds the waters, and they dry up. Again, he sends them out, and they overturn the earth. ¹⁶With him is strength and wisdom. The deceived and the deceiver are his.

¹²He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab. ¹³By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent. ¹⁴Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

¹⁴How much less will I answer him, and choose my words to argue with him?
