Job 33:21

²⁰My bones stick to my skin and to my flesh. I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.

⁵My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust. My skin closes up, and breaks out afresh.

²⁸though I am decaying like a rotten thing, like a garment that is moth-eaten.

¹¹You will groan at your latter end, when your flesh and your body are consumed,

³When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. ⁴For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Selah.

¹⁵My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death. ¹⁶For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.^17[+] I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me.

²⁰You forever prevail against him, and he departs. You change his face, and send him away.

⁸You have shriveled me up. This is a witness against me. My leanness rises up against me. It testifies to my face.

¹¹When you rebuke and correct man for iniquity, you consume his wealth like a moth. Surely every man is but a breath.” Selah.

³For my days consume away like smoke. My bones are burned as a torch. ⁴My heart is blighted like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread. ⁵By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones stick to my skin.
