Job 31:6

⁸The LORD administers judgment to the peoples. Judge me, LORD, according to my righteousness, and to my integrity that is in me. ⁹Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.

²⁷TEKEL: you are weighed in the balances, and are found wanting.

²³Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.’

⁷The way of the just is uprightness. You who are upright make the path of the righteous level.

³“Don’t keep talking so exceedingly proudly. Don’t let arrogance come out of your mouth, for the LORD is a God of knowledge. By him actions are weighed.

¹¹Honest balances and scales are the LORD’s; all the weights in the bag are his work.

²“Oh that my anguish were weighed, and all my calamity laid in the balances!

²²“The Mighty One, God, the LORD, the Mighty One, God, the LORD, he knows; and Israel shall know: if it was in rebellion, or if in trespass against the LORD (don’t save us today),

⁶For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.

²Let my sentence come out of your presence. Let your eyes look on equity. ³You have proved my heart. You have visited me in the night. You have tried me, and found nothing. I have resolved that my mouth shall not disobey.
