Job 26:7

⁸He alone stretches out the heavens, and treads on the waves of the sea.

²²It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in,

²He covers himself with light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain. ³He lays the beams of his rooms in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind. ⁴He makes his messengers^[+] winds, and his servants flames of fire. ⁵He laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved forever.

⁵God the LORD, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread out the earth and that which comes out of it, he who gives breath to its people and spirit to those who walk in it, says:

²³I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth existed. ²⁴When there were no depths, I was born, when there were no springs abounding with water. ²⁵Before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was born; ²⁶while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world. ²⁷When he established the heavens, I was there. When he set a circle on the surface of the deep,

¹In the beginning, God ^[+] created the heavens and the earth. ²The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

²For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.

²⁶Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. By the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, not one is lacking.
