Job 16:2

⁴But you are forgers of lies. You are all physicians of no value. ⁵Oh that you would be completely silent! Then you would be wise.

²“How long will you torment me, and crush me with words? ³You have reproached me ten times. You aren’t ashamed that you attack me.

²“Shouldn’t the multitude of words be answered? Should a man full of talk be justified? ³Should your boastings make men hold their peace? When you mock, will no man make you ashamed?

²“How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength! ³How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

²⁶For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.

¹⁶The former insincerely preach Christ from selfish ambition, thinking that they add affliction to my chains;

¹⁹So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;

⁶Can that which has no flavor be eaten without salt? Or is there any taste in the white of an egg?

²⁵How forcible are words of uprightness! But your reproof, what does it reprove?
