John 17:21

¹²For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

¹¹where there can’t be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondservant, or free person; but Christ is all, and in all.

¹²Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; ¹³bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

¹⁴Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.

¹¹I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.

²⁵that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. ²⁶When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

²⁷Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

²⁷Only let your way of life be worthy of the Good News of Christ, that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;

³⁵By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

²²The glory which you have given me, I have given to them, that they may be one, even as we are one, ²³I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one, that the world may know that you sent me and loved them, even as you loved me.

³⁰I and the Father are one.”

³²The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

⁵so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another,
