John 15:10

¹⁵If you love me, keep my commandments.

³For this is loving God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.

²¹Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God; ²²so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight. ²³This is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he commanded. ²⁴He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

⁵But God’s love has most certainly been perfected in whoever keeps his word. This is how we know that we are in him:

³⁴Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.

²⁹He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn’t left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”

²¹For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.

¹My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor^[+] with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous. ²And he is the atoning sacrifice^[+] for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.

⁴I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do.

²¹One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”
