Jeremiah 46:18

¹⁵Moab is laid waste, and they have gone up into his cities, and his chosen young men have gone down to the slaughter,” says the King, whose name is the LORD of Armies.

⁶She sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh Naphtali, and said to him, “Hasn’t the LORD, the God of Israel, commanded, ‘Go and lead the way to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

²²The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh. Their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

²for they call themselves citizens of the holy city, and rely on the God of Israel; the LORD of Armies is his name.

¹²You have created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.

¹⁴“But the deceiver is cursed who has in his flock a male, and vows and sacrifices to the Lord^[+] a defective thing; for I am a great King,” says the LORD of Armies, “and my name is awesome among the nations.”

⁴Our Redeemer, the LORD of Armies is his name, is the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁷“Every man has become stupid and without knowledge. Every goldsmith is disappointed by his image, for his molten images are falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

⁴²So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he bowed himself down on the earth, and put his face between his knees. ⁴³He said to his servant, “Go up now and look toward the sea.” He went up and looked, then said, “There is nothing.” He said, “Go again” seven times.

³⁵nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
