Isaiah 50:7

⁶So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

⁸Behold, I have made your face hard against their faces, and your forehead hard against their foreheads. ⁹I have made your forehead as a diamond, harder than flint. Don’t be afraid of them, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.”

³³I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”

¹“Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.

¹⁶For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

²¹with whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him. ²²No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him. ²³I will beat down his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him. ²⁴But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted. ²⁵I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers. ²⁶He will call to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!’ ²⁷I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

¹⁶But if one of you suffers for being a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter.

⁵¹It came to pass, when the days were near that he should be taken up, he intently set his face to go to Jerusalem

⁸The LORD says, “I have answered you in an acceptable time. I have helped you in a day of salvation. I will preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage,

¹Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
