Exodus 40:5

¹⁹Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh, ²¹and having a great priest over God’s house, ²²let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and having our body washed with pure water,

⁶Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

²⁴For Christ hasn’t entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

¹My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor^[+] with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous. ²And he is the atoning sacrifice^[+] for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.

¹“You shall make an altar to burn incense on. You shall make it of acacia wood. ²Its length shall be a cubit,^[+] and its width a cubit. It shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits. Its horns shall be of one piece with it. ³You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top, its sides around it, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding around it. ⁴You shall make two golden rings for it under its molding; on its two ribs, on its two sides you shall make them; and they shall be for places for poles with which to bear it. ⁵You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

²⁵All the women who were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and brought that which they had spun: the blue, the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen. ²⁶All the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats’ hair. ²⁷The rulers brought the onyx stones and the stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate; ²⁸with the spice and the oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

²⁶He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil; ²⁷and he burned incense of sweet spices on it, as the LORD commanded Moses. ²⁸He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

³⁶“You shall make a screen for the door of the Tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer. ³⁷You shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold. You shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.

²⁵He made the altar of incense of acacia wood. It was square: its length was a cubit, and its width a cubit. Its height was two cubits. Its horns were of one piece with it. ²⁶He overlaid it with pure gold: its top, its sides around it, and its horns. He made a gold molding around it. ²⁷He made two golden rings for it under its molding crown, on its two ribs, on its two sides, for places for poles with which to carry it. ²⁸He made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
