Exodus 20:15

⁹For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,”^[+] You shall not covet,”and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

²⁸Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.

¹¹“‘You shall not steal. “‘You shall not lie. “‘You shall not deceive one another.

¹³“‘^[+] You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. “‘The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning.

¹⁸He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’

¹⁰nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.

¹³We’ll find all valuable wealth. We’ll fill our houses with plunder. ¹⁴You shall cast your lot among us. We’ll all have one purse”— ¹⁵my son, don’t walk on the path with them. Keep your foot from their path,

¹The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ²“If anyone sins, and commits a trespass against the LORD, and deals falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or has oppressed his neighbor, ³or has found that which was lost, and lied about it, and swearing to a lie—in any of these things that a man sins in his actions— ⁴then it shall be, if he has sinned, and is guilty, he shall restore that which he took by robbery, or the thing which he has gotten by oppression, or the deposit which was committed to him, or the lost thing which he found, ⁵or any thing about which he has sworn falsely: he shall restore it in full, and shall add a fifth part more to it. He shall return it to him to whom it belongs in the day of his being found guilty. ⁶He shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest. ⁷The priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD, and he will be forgiven concerning whatever he does to become guilty.”

¹A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, but accurate weights are his delight.

³⁵“‘You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity. ³⁶You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah,^[+] and a just hin.^[+] I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

³⁷“‘You shall observe all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them. I am the LORD.’”
