Acts 2:27

¹⁰For you will not leave my soul in Sheol,^[+] neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.

³¹he foreseeing this, spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades,^[+] and his flesh didn’t see decay.

¹⁸and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

¹³The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades^[+] gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.

¹³For your loving kindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

³⁹Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”

⁵⁵“Death, where is your sting? Hades,^[+] where is your victory?”

⁵²in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

³⁴saying, “Ah! what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!”

²⁵But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth. ²⁶After my skin is destroyed, then I will see God in my flesh, ²⁷whom I, even I, will see on my side. My eyes will see, and not as a stranger. “My heart is consumed within me.
