2 Samuel 6:9

¹²⁰My flesh trembles for fear of you. I am afraid of your judgments. AYIN

¹¹David was displeased, because the LORD had broken out against Uzza. He called that place Perez Uzza, to this day. ¹²David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring God’s ark home to me?”

¹²The children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, we perish! We are undone! We are all undone! ¹³Everyone who keeps approaching the LORD’s tabernacle, dies! Will we all perish?”

²⁰The men of Beth Shemesh said, “Who is able to stand before the LORD, this holy God? To whom shall he go up from us?”

²⁷But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain you; how much less this house that I have built!

¹⁰So they sent God’s ark to Ekron. As God’s ark came to Ekron, the Ekronites cried out, saying, “They have brought the ark of the God of Israel here to us, to kill us and our people.”

¹¹They sent therefore and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and they said, “Send the ark of the God of Israel away, and let it go again to its own place, that it not kill us and our people.” For there was a deadly panic throughout all the city. The hand of God was very heavy there.

⁵Then I said, “Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips, for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Armies!”

⁵Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight; ⁶How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”

⁸But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.” ⁹For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;

⁶So Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose children you now are if you do well and are not put in fear by any terror.
