2 Chronicles 9:22

¹²therefore wisdom and knowledge is granted to you. I will give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had who have been before you, and none after you will have.”

¹²behold, I have done according to your word. Behold, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has been no one like you before you, and after you none will arise like you. ¹³I have also given you that which you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there will not be any among the kings like you for all your days.

³⁰Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt. ³¹For he was wiser than all men—wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, Heman, Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the nations all around.

²⁷I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

⁴²The Queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and will condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, someone greater than Solomon is here.

²³So King Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom. ²⁴All the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart.

²that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, ³in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.
