1 Timothy 2:1

³We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers,^[+] even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds,

⁹Pray like this: “‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. ¹⁰Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

¹⁶Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

¹May God be merciful to us, bless us, and cause his face to shine on us. Selah. ²That your way may be known on earth, and your salvation among all nations, ³let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you. ⁴Oh let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you will judge the peoples with equity, and govern the nations on earth. Selah.

⁴who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

²⁰giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

²to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men.

²⁴The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but be gentle toward all, able to teach, patient,

³I thank my God whenever I remember you,

⁴¹“Moreover, concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he comes out of a far country for your name’s sake ⁴²(for they shall hear of your great name and of your mighty hand and of your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this house, ⁴³hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to you for; that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, to fear you, as do your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by your name.
