1 Timothy 2:4

³²For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,” says the Lord GOD. “Therefore turn yourselves, and live!

⁹The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

²³Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” says the Lord GOD, “and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?

¹¹For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

¹⁵that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ¹⁶For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born^[+] Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ¹⁷For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

¹¹Tell them, ‘“As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?”’

²⁵in gentleness correcting those who oppose him. Perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth,

¹²For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. ¹³For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”¹⁴How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? ¹⁵And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”

¹⁰For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we have set our trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

²²“Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.
