1 Corinthians 13:4

⁸And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

³²And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

²¹envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

¹²Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs.

¹²Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;

¹¹Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

⁹He who covers an offense promotes love; but he who repeats a matter separates best friends.

¹⁴But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth. ¹⁵This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. ¹⁶For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. ¹⁷But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

¹⁶By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. ¹⁷But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?

¹⁸My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.

⁸Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous,
