1 Chronicles 16:23

¹Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth. ²Sing to the LORD! Bless his name! Proclaim his salvation from day to day! ³Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples. ⁴For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised! He is to be feared above all gods. ⁵For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. ⁶Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. ⁷Ascribe to the LORD, you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. ⁸Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts. ⁹Worship the LORD in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth. ¹⁰Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.” The world is also established. It can’t be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity. ¹¹Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and its fullness! ¹²Let the field and all that is in it exult! Then all the trees of the woods shall sing for joy ¹³before the LORD; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.

⁶Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish away like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a garment. Its inhabitants will die in the same way, but my salvation will be forever, and my righteousness will not be abolished. ⁷“Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. Don’t fear the reproach of men, and don’t be dismayed at their insults. ⁸For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool; but my righteousness will be forever, and my salvation to all generations.”

¹⁵My mouth will tell about your righteousness, and of your salvation all day, though I don’t know its full measure.

⁴Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.

⁹Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.

²¹Miriam answered them, “Sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.”

⁵Sing to the LORD, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth!

¹⁰I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.
