Titus 1:16

⁴One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him.

¹³The Lord said, “Because this people draws near with their mouth and honors me with their lips, but they have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which has been taught;

⁶Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

³¹They come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but don’t do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain.

⁵holding a form of godliness but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also. ⁶For some of these are people who creep into houses and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, ⁷always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. ⁸Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind, who concerning the faith are rejected.

⁴For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ.

²⁸Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

²⁷There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

²²Samuel said, “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the LORD’s voice? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

⁸But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners,abominable, ^[+] murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers,^[+] idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
