Song of Solomon 8:10

⁷I caused you to multiply as that which grows in the field, and you increased and grew great, and you attained to excellent beauty. Your breasts were formed, and your hair grew; yet you were naked and bare.

¹⁰“Foreigners will build up your walls, and their kings will serve you; for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.

³⁰The angel said to her, “Don’t be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

⁷The LORD didn’t set his love on you nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all peoples; ⁸but because the LORD loves you, and because he desires to keep the oath which he swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

⁷This, your stature, is like a palm tree, your breasts like its fruit. ⁸I said, “I will climb up into the palm tree. I will take hold of its fruit.” Let your breasts be like clusters of the vine, the smell of your breath like apples.

⁶to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved.

⁸But Noah found favor in the LORD’s eyes.

⁵Your two breasts are like two fawns that are twins of a roe, which feed among the lilies.

¹⁶However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.

⁴So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
