Romans 8:27

¹⁰“I, the LORD, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”

¹⁴This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. ¹⁵And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

¹⁸For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

²⁴They prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two you have chosen

³⁴Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

²¹won’t God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.

²¹Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God; ²²so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

⁹You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

²⁰But, LORD of Armies, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, I will see your vengeance on them; for to you I have revealed my cause.

⁴But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak—not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.
