Revelation 6:16

³⁰Then they will begin to tell the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and tell the hills, ‘Cover us.’

⁸The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed. The thorn and the thistle will come up on their altars. They will tell the mountains, “Cover us!” and the hills, “Fall on us!”

²Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne

¹¹I saw a great white throne and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the sky fled away. There was found no place for them.

⁵There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.

⁶⁴Jesus said to him, “You have said so. Nevertheless, I tell you, after this you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.”

⁷and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, ⁸punishing those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus, ⁹who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

³Death will be chosen rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places where I have driven them,” says the LORD of Armies.

⁵The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath. ⁶He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.

⁹You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.” ¹⁰Now therefore be wise, you kings. Be instructed, you judges of the earth. ¹¹Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. ¹²Give sincere homage to the Son,^[+] lest he be angry, and you perish on the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
