Revelation 16:17

³⁰When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

⁶He said to me, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.

²in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience.

¹²For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

⁶and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay, ⁷but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as he declared to his servants the prophets.

⁵After these things I looked, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. ⁶The seven angels who had the seven plagues came out, clothed with pure, bright linen, and wearing golden sashes around their chests.

⁷I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it will be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have finished breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished.

⁸I heard, but I didn’t understand. Then I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

⁹He said, “Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. ¹⁰Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

¹¹“From the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there will be one thousand two hundred ninety days. ¹²Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.

¹³“But go your way until the end; for you will rest, and will stand in your inheritance at the end of the days.”

¹⁹God’s temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.

¹I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth!”

¹I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. ²He seized the dragon, the old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth,^[+] and bound him for a thousand years, ³and cast him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.
