Revelation 16:11

⁹People were scorched with great heat, and people blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They didn’t repent and give him glory.

¹³In that day there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

²The first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and it became a harmful and painful sore on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.

²¹Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent,^[+] came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague was exceedingly severe.

²¹I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.

²⁶Oh give thanks to the God of heaven, for his loving kindness endures forever.

¹⁰that they may offer sacrifices of pleasant aroma to the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king and of his sons.

¹¹Thus they returned us answer, saying, “We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth and are building the house that was built these many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished. ¹²But after our fathers had provoked the God of heaven to wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house and carried the people away into Babylon.

²³Whatever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be done exactly for the house of the God of heaven; for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons?

¹⁸that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret, that Daniel and his companions would not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. ¹⁹Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
