Psalms 85:9

¹³I bring my righteousness near. It is not far off, and my salvation will not wait. I will grant salvation to Zion, my glory to Israel.

⁵For I,’ says the LORD, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.

¹⁷If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God or if I am speaking from myself.

⁸For the LORD of Armies says: ‘For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

⁴He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully. ⁵He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, righteousness from the God of his salvation.

³²a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel.”

⁷and I will shake all nations. The treasure of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Armies. ⁸The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says the LORD of Armies. ⁹‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of Armies; ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of Armies.”

²⁰then I will bring you down with those who descend into the pit, to the people of old time, and will make you dwell in the lower parts of the earth, in the places that are desolate of old, with those who go down to the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I will set glory in the land of the living.

²³Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”

¹³He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying to him, ‘Send to Joppa and get Simon, who is called Peter, ¹⁴who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.’
