Psalms 8:4

¹⁷What is man, that you should magnify him, that you should set your mind on him,

³LORD, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him?

⁶But one has somewhere testified, saying, “What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him? ⁷You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.^8[+] You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t yet see all things subjected to him.

⁹But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.

³Don’t put your trust in princes, in a son of man in whom there is no help.

⁶⁸“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people;

¹⁸“But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain you; how much less this house which I have built!

¹⁷Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.

⁶How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”

²⁰Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

¹The LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did to Sarah as he had spoken.
