Psalms 76:6

¹Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD,^[+] and said, “I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.

¹⁶It’s burned with fire. It’s cut down. They perish at your rebuke.

²¹Miriam answered them, “Sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.”

²⁷Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it. The LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the middle of the sea. ²⁸The waters returned, and covered the chariots and the horsemen, even all Pharaoh’s army that went in after them into the sea. There remained not so much as one of them.

¹⁰You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

²⁰You shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men, and with all men of war,” says the Lord GOD.’

⁷At your rebuke they fled. At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.

⁴He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea. ⁵The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone. ⁶Your right hand, LORD, is glorious in power. Your right hand, LORD, dashes the enemy in pieces.

³⁹When they are inflamed, I will make their feast, and I will make them drunk, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake up,” says the LORD.

¹⁸The Syrians fled before Israel; and David killed seven hundred charioteers of the Syrians and forty thousand horsemen, and struck Shobach the captain of their army, so that he died there.
