Psalms 75:4

²¹Then I asked, “What are these coming to do?” He said, “These are the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man lifted up his head; but these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.”

²²“How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge?

⁵You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!

¹⁷For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted.

²“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah. ³“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. ⁴Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.” ⁵They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken. ⁶I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High. ⁷Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.” ⁸Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.

¹⁴He has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints, even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise the LORD!

⁸Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?

²⁰and concerning the ten horns that were on its head and the other horn which came up, and before which three fell, even that horn that had eyes and a mouth that spoke arrogantly, whose look was more stout than its fellows. ²¹I saw, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them,

⁶Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
