Psalms 74:12

⁴God, you are my King. Command victories for Jacob!

²²For the LORD is our judge. The LORD is our lawgiver. The LORD is our king. He will save us.

⁵Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine; ⁶and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

²The LORD^[+] is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him. ³The LORD is a man of war. The LORD^[+] is his name. ⁴He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea. ⁵The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone. ⁶Your right hand, LORD, is glorious in power. Your right hand, LORD, dashes the enemy in pieces. ⁷In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble. ⁸With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea. ⁹The enemy said, ‘I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the plunder. My desire will be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword. My hand will destroy them.’ ¹⁰You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters. ¹¹Who is like you, LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? ¹²You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them. ¹³“You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation. ¹⁴The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia. ¹⁵Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.

⁸For he said, “Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely;” so he became their Savior.

²³So God subdued Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel on that day. ²⁴The hand of the children of Israel prevailed more and more against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.

²¹He has not seen iniquity in Jacob. Neither has he seen perverseness in Israel. The LORD his God is with him. The shout of a king is among them. ²²God brings them out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild ox.

¹²You marched through the land in wrath. You threshed the nations in anger. ¹³You went out for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the land of wickedness. You stripped them head to foot. Selah. ¹⁴You pierced the heads of his warriors with their own spears. They came as a whirlwind to scatter me, gloating as if to devour the wretched in secret.

⁵for he put his life in his hand and struck the Philistine, and the LORD worked a great victory for all Israel. You saw it and rejoiced. Why then will you sin against innocent blood, to kill David without a cause?”
