Psalms 68:9

¹⁴that I will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

⁹You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it. ¹⁰You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop. ¹¹You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance. ¹²The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness. ¹³The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.

²⁶I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing. I will cause the shower to come down in its season. There will be showers of blessing.

²⁴He rained down manna on them to eat, and gave them food from the sky. ²⁵Man ate the bread of angels. He sent them food to the full. ²⁶He caused the east wind to blow in the sky. By his power he guided the south wind. ²⁷He also rained meat on them as the dust, winged birds as the sand of the seas.

¹⁶The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed. ¹⁷The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.

¹⁰For the land, where you go in to possess isn’t like the land of Egypt that you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs; ¹¹but the land that you go over to possess is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water from the rain of the sky, ¹²a land which the LORD your God cares for. The LORD your God’s eyes are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.
