Psalms 54:3

^14[+] God, the proud have risen up against me. A company of violent men have sought after my soul, and they don’t hold regard for you before them.

¹A revelation is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.

³They will do these things^[+] because they have not known the Father nor me.

⁴Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on God?

¹³“He has put my brothers far from me. My acquaintances are wholly estranged from me. ¹⁴My relatives have gone away. My familiar friends have forgotten me. ¹⁵Those who dwell in my house and my maids consider me a stranger. I am an alien in their sight.

³For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, LORD. ⁴I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, behold, and help me! ⁵You, LORD God of Armies, the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish the nations. Show no mercy to the wicked traitors. Selah.

⁸I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

¹⁴Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.

¹⁶For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.

²⁰Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the multitudes to ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus. ²¹But the governor answered them, “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” They said, “Barabbas!”

²²Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do to Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said to him, “Let him be crucified!”

²³But the governor said, “Why? What evil has he done?” But they cried out exceedingly, saying, “Let him be crucified!”
