Psalms 53:6

⁷Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

¹⁸The LORD says: “Behold, I will reverse the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places. The city will be built on its own hill, and the palace will be inhabited in its own place.

⁴⁶He made them also to be pitied by all those who carried them captive. ⁴⁷Save us, LORD, our God, gather us from among the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise! ⁴⁸Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting! Let all the people say, “Amen.” Praise the LORD!

¹When the LORD brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream. ²Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” ³The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad. ⁴Restore our fortunes again, LORD, like the streams in the Negev.

⁶Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is great among you!”

¹LORD, you have been favorable to your land. You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.

⁴³They offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women and the children also rejoiced, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even far away.

³²What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD has founded Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people will take refuge.

¹In that day you will say, “I will give thanks to you, the LORD;^[+] for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me. ²Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD,^[+] the LORD,^[+] is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.” ³Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation.

²Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.
