Psalms 37:26

⁵It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.

²¹The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.

⁷Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

⁹He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.

⁷A righteous man walks in integrity. Blessed are his children after him.

⁸but you shall surely open your hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need, which he lacks. ⁹Beware that there not be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, “The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,” and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing; and he cry to the LORD against you, and it be sin to you. ¹⁰You shall surely give, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because it is for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you put your hand to.

³⁵But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil. ³⁶“Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is also merciful. ³⁷Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.

³⁸“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you.^[+] For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.”

³⁹I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good and the good of their children after them.

¹³For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.
