Psalms 22:1

^34[+] At the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is, being interpreted, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

^46[+] About the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lima^[+] sabachthani?” That is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

⁷He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,

¹⁶For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.

²⁴For my sighing comes before I eat. My groanings are poured out like water.

¹Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men. ²For you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? ³Oh, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy hill, to your tents. ⁴Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God. ⁵Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God.

¹Why do you stand far off, LORD? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

⁴⁴He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms concerning me must be fulfilled.”

⁵Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

¹⁴But I trust in you, LORD. I said, “You are my God.” ¹⁵My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. ¹⁶Make your face to shine on your servant. Save me in your loving kindness.
