Psalms 19:11

¹¹I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

⁸Watch yourselves, that we don’t lose the things which we have accomplished, but that we receive a full reward.

¹⁸Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but one who keeps the law is blessed.

⁶Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

⁷By faith Noah, being warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear,^[+] prepared a ship for the saving of his house, through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

²⁵But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

²²When you walk, it will lead you. When you sleep, it will watch over you. When you awake, it will talk with you. ²³For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light. Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,

¹³I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their works follow with them.”

⁴so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

²⁶considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

¹⁷“Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word from my mouth, and warn them from me. ¹⁸When I tell the wicked, ‘You will surely die;’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand. ¹⁹Yet if you warn the wicked, and he doesn’t turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.”

²⁰“Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he will die. Because you have not given him warning, he will die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered; but I will require his blood at your hand. ²¹Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous not sin, and he does not sin, he will surely live, because he took warning; and you have delivered your soul.”
