Psalms 18:49

⁹and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will give praise to you among the Gentiles and sing to your name.”

⁵⁰Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name. ⁵¹He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.”

⁴All the kings of the earth will give you thanks, LORD, for they have heard the words of your mouth.

¹³I command you before God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession,

¹My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.

⁷Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

³I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.

¹⁸Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. ¹⁹Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.

¹²to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!

³⁰When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
