Psalms 18:37

⁵Through you, we will push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.

¹⁰Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and the LORD’s pleasure will prosper in his hand. ¹¹After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light^[+] and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities. ¹²Therefore I will give him a portion with the great. He will divide the plunder with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was counted with the transgressors; yet he bore the sins of many and made intercession for the transgressors.

¹¹They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In the LORD’s name I indeed cut them off. ¹²They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In the LORD’s name I cut them off.

³When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish in your presence.

¹⁹I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse and against his army. ²⁰The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

¹⁷I see him, but not now. I see him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob. A scepter will rise out of Israel, and shall strike through the corners of Moab, and crush all the sons of Sheth. ¹⁸Edom shall be a possession. Seir, his enemy, also shall be a possession, while Israel does valiantly. ¹⁹Out of Jacob shall one have dominion, and shall destroy the remnant from the city.”

⁷Arise, LORD! Save me, my God! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

²Then a white horse appeared, and he who sat on it had a bow. A crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.

²Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.

¹Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who is this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.” ²Why is your clothing red, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat? ³“I have trodden the wine press alone. Of the peoples, no one was with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing. ⁴For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come. ⁵I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. My own wrath upheld me. ⁶I trod down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath. I poured their lifeblood out on the earth.”
