Psalms 18:12

¹¹As they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth Horon, the LORD hurled down great stones from the sky on them to Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the children of Israel killed with the sword.

²¹Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent,^[+] came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague was exceedingly severe.

²He was changed^[+] before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.

²³Moses stretched out his rod toward the heavens, and the LORD sent thunder and hail; and lightning flashed down to the earth. The LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt. ²⁴So there was very severe hail, and lightning mixed with the hail, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

⁵While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”

⁴His splendor is like the sunrise. Rays shine from his hand, where his power is hidden. ⁵Plague went before him, and pestilence followed his feet.

³A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries on every side. ⁴His lightning lights up the world. The earth sees, and trembles.

²He covers himself with light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain.

¹³At the brightness before him, coals of fire were kindled. ¹⁴The LORD thundered from heaven. The Most High uttered his voice. ¹⁵He sent out arrows and scattered them, lightning and confused them.
