Psalms 144:9

²Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings. ³Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!

³He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

^1[+] Praise the LORD!^[+] Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints.

³Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet! Praise him with harp and lyre! ⁴Praise him with tambourine and dancing! Praise him with stringed instruments and flute! ⁵Praise him with loud cymbals! Praise him with resounding cymbals!

¹Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob! ²Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp. ³Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

¹Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.

²Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn. ³I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.

¹Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was: ²of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king. ³Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the LORD with the harp. ⁴Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth. ⁵All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters. ⁶All these were under the hands of their father for song in the LORD’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.

³They sing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.

⁹They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation, ¹⁰and made us kings and priests to our God; and we will reign on the earth.”
