Psalms 130:3

²Don’t enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.

⁷You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

²⁰Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

²¹But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; ²²even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction, ²³for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; ²⁴being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

⁷But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.” ⁸Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger.

⁹They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.

¹⁷for the great day of his wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

¹⁴if I sin, then you mark me. You will not acquit me from my iniquity.

⁶Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.

¹⁴What is man, that he should be clean? What is he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

²“But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderers’ soap;

⁶All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
