Psalms 119:7

¹⁷¹Let my lips utter praise, for you teach me your statutes.

⁴⁵It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, comes to me.

¹²Blessed are you, LORD. Teach me your statutes.

⁴Show me your ways, LORD. Teach me your paths. ⁵Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. I wait for you all day long.

¹³Now therefore, our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name. ¹⁴But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and we have given you of your own. ¹⁵For we are strangers before you and foreigners, as all our fathers were. Our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no remaining. ¹⁶LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build you a house for your holy name comes from your hand, and is all your own. ¹⁷I know also, my God, that you try the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things. Now I have seen with joy your people, who are present here, offer willingly to you.

¹⁷The LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

¹I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works.

⁸Good and upright is the LORD, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way. ⁹He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way. ¹⁰All the paths of the LORD are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

³³Teach me, LORD, the way of your statutes. I will keep them to the end. ³⁴Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.

⁷³Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.
