Psalms 119:45

¹³³Establish my footsteps in your word. Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me.

¹²When you go, your steps will not be hampered. When you run, you will not stumble.

²⁵But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

⁹⁴I am yours. Save me, for I have sought your precepts.

³⁰As he spoke these things, many believed in him. ³¹Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. ³²You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

³³They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’?”

³⁴Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin. ³⁵A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever. ³⁶If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

³⁹“You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.

¹⁹promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.

¹²So speak and so do as men who are to be judged by the law of freedom.

¹⁷Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
