Psalms 119:38

³⁹I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good and the good of their children after them. ⁴⁰I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me. ⁴¹Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.”

¹¹The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.

¹⁷But the LORD’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children,

²⁰For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen”, to the glory of God through us.

¹¹For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.

²⁵“Now, LORD God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, confirm it forever, and do as you have spoken. ²⁶Let your name be magnified forever, saying, ‘The LORD of Armies is God over Israel; and the house of your servant David will be established before you.’ ²⁷For you, LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, ‘I will build you a house.’ Therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.

²⁸“Now, O Lord GOD, you are God, and your words are truth, and you have promised this good thing to your servant. ²⁹Now therefore, let it please you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you; for you, Lord GOD, have spoken it. Let the house of your servant be blessed forever with your blessing.”

¹³Like a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.

⁴⁹Remember your word to your servant, because you gave me hope.

¹⁹He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
