Psalms 115:1

⁹Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake. ¹⁰Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let it be known among the nations, before our eyes, that vengeance for your servants’ blood is being poured out.

¹¹For my own sake, for my own sake, I will do it; for how would my name be profaned? I will not give my glory to another.

⁸Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts.

¹⁴But I worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.

³²I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord GOD. “Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”

⁶to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved.

²²“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord GOD says: “I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.

⁹For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and will surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. What will you do for your great name?”

¹I will sing of the loving kindness of the LORD forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations. ²I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.”

¹⁰the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying, ¹¹“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One,^[+] to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed and were created!”
