Psalms 103:1

¹Praise the LORD!^[+] Praise the LORD,^[+] my soul. ²While I live, I will praise the LORD. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

⁷My heart is steadfast, God. My heart is steadfast. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises. ⁸Wake up, my glory! Wake up, lute and harp! I will wake up the dawn. ⁹I will give thanks to you, Lord, among the peoples. I will sing praises to you among the nations. ¹⁰For your great loving kindness reaches to the heavens, and your truth to the skies. ¹¹Be exalted, God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth.

²⁴God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

¹Praise the LORD!^[+] I will give thanks to the LORD^[+] with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

¹⁵What should I do? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also. I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

¹⁶Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

³Let them praise your great and awesome name. He is Holy!

³⁰You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’This is the first commandment. ³¹The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no other commandment greater than these.”

³²The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he; ³³and to love him with all the heart, with all the understanding, all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

⁴⁶Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord. ⁴⁷My spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior,
