Proverbs 29:2

¹²When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.

¹⁰When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices. When the wicked perish, there is shouting.

²⁸When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous thrive.

¹⁵Mordecai went out of the presence of the king in royal clothing of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a robe of fine linen and purple; and the city of Susa shouted and was glad.

⁵There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, the sort of error which proceeds from the ruler.

¹⁵The couriers went out in haste by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given out in the citadel of Susa. The king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city of Susa was perplexed.

¹⁵The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”

¹God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son. ²He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice. ³The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness. ⁴He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces. ⁵They shall fear you while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations. ⁶He will come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth. ⁷In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.

⁵“Behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that I will raise to David a righteous Branch; and he will reign as king and deal wisely, and will execute justice and righteousness in the land. ⁶In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. This is his name by which he will be called: The LORD our righteousness.

¹Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice. ²A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.
