Proverbs 28:18

⁹He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out.

⁶Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his ways, and he is rich.

³Remember therefore how you have received and heard. Keep it and repent. If therefore you won’t watch, I will come as a thief, and you won’t know what hour I will come upon you.

³The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them. ⁴Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. ⁵The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way, but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. ⁶The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them, but the unfaithful will be trapped by evil desires.

¹¹For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.

³²The LORD’s angel said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way is perverse before me.

¹⁸Surely you set them in slippery places. You throw them down to destruction. ¹⁹How they are suddenly destroyed! They are completely swept away with terrors. ²⁰As a dream when one wakes up, so, Lord,^[+] when you awake, you will despise their fantasies.

¹But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction. ²Many will follow their immoral^[+] ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned. ³In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.

²¹Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.

⁵But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways, the LORD will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.
