Proverbs 23:26

²Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.

⁹How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. ¹⁰With my whole heart I have sought you. Don’t let me wander from your commandments. ¹¹I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

⁵You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.

³⁷He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me. ³⁸He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.

²⁵Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you. ²⁶Make the path of your feet level. Let all of your ways be established. ²⁷Don’t turn to the right hand nor to the left. Remove your foot from evil.

²³Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.

¹My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,

¹⁷that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

¹⁴For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. ¹⁵He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.

⁴He taught me, and said to me: “Let your heart retain my words. Keep my commandments, and live.
